Without so much as a glance, he took the clothing and went back to the counter. After a few words with the manager that was standing there, he had donated the clothing and gotten a backpack. Some old thing an army guy's family donated. It was camouflage wit lots of good pockets and a tough zipper. Fino came back and took Deniz' extra clothes and stuffed them in the backpack. Noticing the furrowed eyebrows and downcast gaze, he said with a sigh, "Don't feel bad. Everyone has issues, don't they?"

Deniz shrugged a shoulder and left the store, holding the door open for Fino. "I'm not supposed to have any....not when they could prevent me from protecting you." That made him flawed didn't it? So why did North Town let him go? Did they really think he was able to protect a Royal when he couldn't even defeat small spaces?

He stepped outside and into the moderately warm outdoors. It was a lot better out here than in there. "Let me be the judge of that, Deniz. You have plenty of potential in you. I look at that rather than what you currently have. Learned that the hard way at a young age, and such a mentality has served me well. You would do best to adapt the same." He sighed. "I mean honestly, you have..." he made a random gesture at Deniz, "this moodiness all around your face."

Deniz followed Fino, letting out a low sigh as he walked away from the store. His frown deepened and he didn't say anything until he knew the werehawk was done talking. "Yes master," he replied simply, rubbing his eyes and trying to put a blank expression on his face.

"Alright, let's get going then. I don't want to wind up out there after dark. Some really nasty weres hang around outside of town. They're notorious for ripping others apart. Zeros can't keep a damper on them, not since after the massacre and all." He headed off down the streets, yearning to fly again.

Deniz frowned, looking at Fino. "You're serious?" He didn't expect that there were such Weres around, but it shouldn't really surprise him. He didn't question why they had come to such a place if there were such dangerous people. He'd go wherever his master wanted to go.

"Oh don't worry. They're only around at night, and they stick to the bluffs and whatnot. We'll be back in town before dark, I assure you." He gave him a reassuring look, and headed off.

Deniz nodded, still frowning. As long as they returned by then he saw no harm in leaving. If they didn't leave before then....it might turn out to be an interesting and dangerous training experience.
