As told, Alice sat down in the gunner seat and pulled her legs up to her chest and hugged them. "... Ok. When are we going to ditch the tank...?" She asked in a weak voice. She was so tired and felt like she was on fire. Alice closed her eyes and rocked back and forth. "Enethar... I feel really warm... My stomach hurts..." She whimpers a bit. "Is it just me...?" She asked as she rocked back and forth.

He looked back at her, panic setting in when he saw her. He got up from the chair and kneeled next to her, pressng his hand to her forehead. "You're running a fever," he said, not liking how pale she looked. He noticed then, just the barest of cuts in her shirt. He looked closely at it and pulled out a tiny needle from her skin. He held it betwen his fingers. Sniffed it. Licked it. Turned his head and spat on the floor. "Poison." He heard the radio go off again and glanced at the controls. "Master I..." he paused, biting his lip. This was bad. "You'll be dead in thirty minutes. I need you to hold on till then. There is no way I can help you till we're out of the tank." He looked at her with burning eyes. "You have to hold on till then, understand? You will be wishing for death in a matter of minutes, but you have to bear it till we get to the stop point."

"I-I will..." Alice said weakly, now horrified on the news. "... I feel like I'm gonna puke... But I'm gonna be ok..." She assured him. She then decided not to rest after all, if she fell asleep there was no way in hell she was going to be waking up. She curled up even more and looked to Enethar. "... how long until we get to the point?" She asked after a moment, trying to fight off the heat and pain rushing through her body.

"A half hour, master," he replied, returning to his seat. They would be cutting it close. Far too close for comfort. He shifted the tank into gear as orders came over the radio that the convoy was to move out. Enethar rolled the tank forward to follow the others.

Alice tensed up nervously, shaking in her seat yet trying to stay alive. She began to whimper and feel weaker and warmer as time slowly passed. To her it felt like forever until they reached their destination. Many times she nearly hurled all over the tank floor, other times she began to doze.
