Where the cooks prepare delicious meals for the family. They only stop when they are on break or to get more supplies.

Nox walked into the empty kitchens and opened up the pantry and the fridge and freezer, looking for food. He grabbed a few things here and there and brought them to the preperatuion table. Snatching a few dishes, he set to work.

Mirele stood at the other edge of the kitchen, she looked over towards Nox as he prepared the food.

Nox continued cooking, munching on his biscuit now and then to keep his own hunger at bay. He finished in about ten minutes, having cooked up a marvelous looking steak, soaked in its own juices and sprinkled with salt, pepper, and rubbed with garlic. He served it up on a plate. "Your Highness."

"Thank you." She smiled happily and eyed the steak for a moment, taking in the scent of the food before digging in. After a few bites she looked up at Nox and smiled like a little child.

He just leaned back against the counter, munching on his biscuit. "You are welcome, my lady," he said. He started cleaning up.

Mirele continued to eat her food. Once she was stuffed, she sets down her silverware and stood up, taking her dishes to the sink.

"Oh... thank you again Nox." Mirele nodded to him and stepped back. She turned towards the door to the kitchen and smiled. "Good morning Mother." She nodded towards the figure in the door way, that being Aurora. // Aurora gave a tired smile and nodded to the two. "Good morning Mirele... Good morning Nox...." She walks in and heads past the two, going to sit down.

Nox's eyes widened when the Queen herself entered the room. He thought it very odd, seeing as they were royals in the kitchens, but he was not about to say anything. "Good morning, your Highness," he replied, straightening up and bowing to her. He returned to the dishes then. Two Royals in a day, he thought.

He finished up the washing, the drying, and the putting away of said dishes. He still felt nervous, as if at any moment the Queen would reprimand him for something or the Princess would get mad or, he didn't know. He might be a guard, but he was usually just around the halls, seeing the Royals pass now and again. he never actually spent time with these fine people. That was the job of personal servants and bodyguards. Finished, he timidly grabbed another biscuit and leaned back against the counter, eating quietly.

Aurora looked somewhat distant and pale this morning, as if she was on some sort of hangover. She took a sip of water before looking over at Mirele and Nox for a moment. She had been sick with a cold for awhile.

Nox caught the Queen's gaze. A flash of concern went through his mind. She's not her usual self, he thought, though who was he to judge that. As said, he was hardly ever around them on a day to day basis, but he was pretty sure that her complexion was not favorable. Realizing he was holding a look directly at her face, he quickly averted his own. "Are you alright. your Highness?" he asked her, his voice clear but low. "Pardon me for saying, but you seem rather pale."

"Oh I'm quite fine..." Aurora assured him. "I'm just exhausted... long day yesterday." She gave a small and tired smile once again, before she coughed a tiny bit.
