The dojo's hall is a wide open room that one finds themselves in when they initially walk through the doors. It is almost completely bare, save a few oriental cushions near the windows to sit upon, small, red and green potted plants in the corners, and beautiful artwork on the walls. |

So a strange occurrence was happening in the Dojo Hall. Alice was out of her room! She was sitting on a cushion looking out the window, gazing down at the city below. She didn't seem to be paying attention to anything in the city. She was just lost in a train of thought.

Kieran leaned against the wall, head lowered, arms folded across his chest, one knee up and bent so his foot was pressed against the wall. He was in the shadows of a certain post, just eyeing the floor with as much intensity as a dead fish. Seeing a slight flicker of movement, he glanced up at Alice. He said nothing, even though he hadn't exactly seen her in a while.

After a moment, Alice turned her gaze towards Kieran. She didn't ever see him walk in... that or she was oblivious. She was quite alarmed to see him. So with that, Alice turned her body away from the window and faced Kieran, putting a small smile on her face. "... Hello..."

"Hello," he replied bluntly. Ice blue eyes looked black in the absence of light. Some of his bangs fell across his face as well, creating more shadow. He looked back at the floor. "Finally came to join the living I see."

Her smile quickly faded, but she just shrugged and turned back towards the window. "If you would like to call that, then I guess its a maybe." Her voice was quieter now.

Kieran put his foot down and stretched his back, arms up over his head, then he let them fall to his sides. He stuffed his hands in his pockets and looked back at her. She was always so down. It irritated him. "I'm going outside," he said finally, just as the warning air horn blared, indicating imminent volcano activity.

A slightly cruel smile flickered across his face before fading out entirely. "I thought you hated the eruptions." He really wished she wouldn't come, but who was he to stop her? It was his fault she was this way after all.

Alice somewhat withdrew from the strange smile, but eventually shrugged it off and nodded slowly. "Y-Yes but... I really had no reason to hate erruptions..." She said. somewhat embarrassed. "Is it ok with you...?"

Kieran shrugged his shoulders. "I have no authority over you," he said bluntly. "Do as you please." He turned and headed towards the exit. He just wanted to stretch his wings.

Alice sighed, somewhat in frustration. She decided to follow him out anyways. She hadn't been flying in a long time so she had a bad feeling about this... Kind of.

Kieran entered with Alice. "Just, go to your room and freshen up or... or whatever girls do," he said, stumbling over his words. His mind was preoccupied. He was going to go talk to someone he hadn't to in years: the King. If he owed Adrian anything, it was at least the whereabouts of Lorcan. And that was something only the King new. He gave his sister one last look, then headed to his room to first put on something decent before going to talk to the King.

Alice looked towards her brother and didn't say anything else. With that she went to her room and closed the door. Not locking it this time. She curled up on her bed and hugged a stuffed dragon close to her chest, bawling into it. She just wish she hadn't left her room.

The guards dragged Kieran back into the hall. He wasn't going down easy though. Kicking and writhing in their iron grip, he managed to break free of one of them and slashed at their chest with shifted claws.
More blood was spilled onto the floor, and the guards all took their own half-shifts, snarling and clawing at Kieran. There was a rather brief frenzy, for Kieran was sorely outnumbered and really had not the heart to fight. His very spirit was half-dead. "Enough of this nonsense," the General spat. "Get him to the dungeons, now!"
