Alice ran out hearing something going on. "KIERAN?!" She screamed. "What's going on?!" She tries to run after them. "What is going on?!?" She demands them.

Adrian had left the courtyard when he heard the sound of a fight going on in the hall. He froze, arriving in time to hear the General's words and Alice's shrieks.

Alice shook her head in disbelief. "... I don't believe this..." She drops to her knees and begins to sob. "No! Kieran! He... He couldn't have...!" She bawled. What was happening? Why was this happening?

The General looked to Adrian. "Your Highness, could you please help your sister. We need to continue our investigation and convene a council." He did not want to address them as children, but they were, and he needed them out of the way.

Adrian looked at the General with narrowed eyes. "You've arrested my brother. It already seems like you've made up your minds without doing an investigation.'' The man was joking, right? He didn't seriously expect him to help Alice.

"We will convene a tribunal and hear what your brother has to say. Then he will be sentenced. If he is found to not be guilty, then we will have to pour our resources into finding the real killer. Whoever did do this murder cannot be allowed to go free."

"Because they need someone to blame and Kieran happened to be there when it happened," Adrian snapped, clearly not in the mood to deal with his emotional sibling. It wasn't that he was emotionless, but he wasn't going to cry over this. He wanted to find out for himself what happened, and he couldn't do that if he was looking after Alice.

"Up to your room," Adrian nudged his sister lightly. He didn't know what was going on. Yeah, he had heard rumors about how Kieran was out to kill the King next....but he didn't actually believe them. Not completely at least.
