A small clinic near the Eastern part of the village. It is a big wood building with two stories and a wide yard out back. A few skilled doctors work here to care for the citizens or whatever injured come wandering in.

The white gold dragon -whose name is actually Haruka Tonbo of the great Tonbo family that co-rules this fine little village- set down Kieran in the back field. It was the only place he'd fit, seeing as he was still in dragon form. Haruka looked back up at the sky where he could see Garaveth and Adrian following. Then he returned to human form and walked up to the clinic doors. The doctor came out to meet him, having watched their approach. "Welcome, Tonbo, sir." Haruka waved him off. "Get those two looked after," he ordered, "and keep them under guard well... I'll send someone to guard them. Garaveth will do for now. But don't let them leave anywhere without my say so." "Yes sir," the doctor said, and he turned back to address one of the other doctors there. Haruka left them to it and went back outside to watch for Garaveth.

Garaveth followed after Haruka to the little clinic and soon landed in the field beside Kieran's. She made sure to not drop Aidrian as she landed and very gently set him on the ground beside his brother. Her light colored gaze looked down at the boy in concerned and glanced to Haruka as he finished speaking to one of the doctors at the clinic. Her large form soon shifted back into her small slender human form beside Aidrian. "Don't worry, everything will be okay. Just hold on okay?" She whispered to him with a soft look in her eyes before she turned her attention to Haruka and approached him. "Will they be able to help them?" She asked him with a concerned look in her gaze.

Adrian didn’t know how he managed to remain conscious, but he did. His eyes fluttered open and shut. His head jerked up in a bout of wakefulness before he ended up nodding off again. He was barely aware that they had landed, though it was something he realized when he turned away from the weredragon that spoke to him. He still heard his heart pounding in his ears and the throbbing pain in his head hadn’t lessened. He crossed his arms over his chest tightly, trying to stop the shivering. His blurry vision couldn’t quite make out where the other two had brought him and Kieran, though he was at least certain that they hadn’t been taken back to Cinaed.

Haruka looked back at Garaveth, then regarded the two injured weredragons with grave study. “The smaller one perhaps. The dragon is dead already. There’s not much that can be done.” He then added in a hurried whisper, “but don’t tell the younger one yet. He said he doesn’t like them, but just to be safe. He’s not in a right mental state at the moment with his injuries and all.” He looked up as the doctors passed by them with a stretcher to take Adrian to a proper room for treatment and care. Two other doctors approached Kieran, who by all appearances, definitely seemed dead. Haruka had seen dead and near dead before, and he was pretty sure that Kieran was, but the doctors would be able to tell better than he could. “Oh, and Garaveth, you’ll be guarding the young one for the time being till I get a proper guard set up. Don’t want him wandering off or anything. When a decision has been made on what’s to be done, I’ll let you know.” He gave her a nod, then headed off down the road to go report to his superiors. No doubt questioning as to these dragons’ identities would be one of the first things in order. With all the weird rumors coming from Cinaed, it was hard to know who to trust or if strangers really were who they said they were.

Adrian was in and out of sleep. It was such a struggle to remain awake, but at the same time he had to stay awake. It felt like falling asleep would be giving up, only it would be much worse than simply giving up. He’d be at the mercy of these Were’s he didn’t know. Who knew what they would do to him. He wouldn’t admit to himself that he already was at their mercy. It wasn’t like he was able to put up a fight or fly away. Lifting his head off of the ground he couldn’t make out the blurs he was seeing besides the large red one. Kieran. At first he managed to get himself up into a shaky crawl, but only a few feet after his crawling he begun to tire, and he resorted to dragging himself across the ground. Each movement became a struggle. It felt like he was inhaling and exhaling fire instead of air. His entire being protested against the movement and tried to lull him back into the blackness of sleep, but he wouldn’t have any of it. By the time he reached Kieran’s side he was shivering uncontrollably and his limbs wouldn’t cooperate. He lay beside the red dragon, pushing himself up against the red scales to feel if there was any warmth underneath them.

Garaveth's eyes saddened at Haruka's words as she glanced back at the large red dragon. A soft sigh left her lips sadly, only hoping that Haruka's statement wasn't true. Her gaze then glanced to the boy and gave him an apologetic look. She felt sorry for him, he came here with two others and the only one to survive was him. She then glanced back to Haruka as he told her that she had to guard the boy and gave him a slight nod in understanding. She wouldn't mind watching him after what had happened to him, she was sure he would need some company even if he didn't show it physically.

The doctors started talking amongst themselves about testing the dragon in its dragon form while the other one was getting the stretcher around so they could move Adrian. The doctor crouched down next to Adrian. "We're going to get you both looked at, alright. I'm just going to reach over and take a quick vitals check before I move you." The doctor reached over and felt Adrian's pulses, mostly concentrating on the areas where there was the most damage. One of the other doctors came over to help with Adrian's immediate injuries.

Adrian blinked, narrowing his eye. It didn’t help make his vision any clearer like he hoped it might. Saying that he was uncomfortable with strangers being in such close proximity to him was an understatement. It just made it worse that they were touching him and there wasn’t anything he could do to stop them. This was Adrian after all, the most hard headed Draeyva, one that would have refused help even if he needed it. If his arms hadn’t felt so heavy he would have slapped and hit as long as it took for them to leave him alone. At least he couldn’t really feel much of the physical pain anymore, though he doubted these Were’s deserved the credit for that. He gritted his teeth, focusing on the blob he assumed was the talking doctor’s head. “He’s alive? The red dragon?”

The doctor’s were a little absorbed in their own work. The answer did not come immediately. So they went about putting pressure on certain areas. They even put a tourniquet over the leg stump using the pressure cuff. Then they did a lot of maneuvering and then picked him up and placed him on the stretcher. “Red dragon is…” the doctor looked at Kieran. “I don’t know, kid. I’m in charge of getting you better.”

Adrian begun to panic when he didn’t get an answer right away, guessing what their answer would be. His heart pounding harder and louder, the throbbing in his head worsened to the point where he thought his head was being split into two. He felt warm streaks falling down his face, but in his state he couldn’t tell that they were tears. He squirmed when he was picked up, surprised by the unwanted movement. “No! I don’t want to go anywhere, put me down. “ It sounded like he was shouting, but his words came out as a raspy croak. “There’s no getting better from this…stop wasting your time.”

They ignored his protests. Maybe because minors had no real say or maybe because they weren't typical hospital doctors. They also knew his ramblings to be ridiculous. They brought him into a room and transferred him to a bed. "Start him on the machines, get an IV, blood sample, and anesthesia. I'm going to go prep for surgery and you two are helping," he said, pointing at two of the doctors. They left to get ready while the one remaining pulled a knockout drug syringe from the cart and injected it into Adrian's neck.

Adrian's squirming slowly came to an end as he grew weaker. Of course they wouldn't listen to him. He was the crazy one after all. They'd ignore everything he said and look after him anyways. His eye lids started to flutter close again when he guessed they had taken him inside. He whimpered and rocked slightly. The movement itself didn’t help with the pain in his head, he doubted anything would, but it was more of a distraction than anything. He didn't want their machines, IV, drugs, or surgery. He wanted them to help Kieran, not him. If any of the Draeyva were going to make it, Kieran would. When the drug was injected into his neck he cried out, his fingers weakly fumbling to try and pull the injection out. He had more than enough injections in his neck to last him a life time. Slowly his fumbling stopped, and his hand fell limply.

The doctors worked quickly on Adrian, filtering clean blood and fresh IVs into his veins to replace lost fluids. They trimmed off the flesh around amputated limbs and sewed them up new much more efficiently than Patrick had been able to do since they had better supplies than what had been hastily put together and carried into that dank, dungeon room those two days ago. Adrian's body was also properly cleaned and attended to so no contaminates could get into his wounds or the ash into his lungs anymore. While he was unconscious, they also pumped his lungs out of the layer of ash they found had built up inside while he had been in human form in the Ashlands.
Outside, the doctors worked on Kieran. First by shoving several hundred CCs of adrenalin directly into his heart. The dragon's eyes flew open, he blew out a massive fireball, screamed, writhed, then he painfully reverted back to human form, expelling the adrenalin out in bouts of vomiting and profuse bleeding. The doctors then performed some hasty, emergency surgeries similar to Adrian's first set of surgeries so he wouldn't bleed to death. Then they also brought him inside to attend on him better. It was much easier to fix a human than a dragon. They too were nervous about the exile's mark, but made no comment on it as they did their work in professional silence.
Neither set of doctors finished till they were sure their patients had been stabilized. Then they met in the hallway to discuss their procedures and what was to be done for continued treatments. Haruka Tonbo returned with four people. He assigned two to watch room to make sure no one entered or left the room that wasn't supposed to.

The next day.
Darkness and warmth accompanied by the faint beeping and whirring of machines. The smell of sterilization was enough to make anyone gag, but Adrian wrinkled his nose and continued to sleep, or at least pretend to do so. He wasn’t ready to wake up. To face everything that had happened all over again, because that’s what was going to happen, yes? These people would demand their answers. What would they do to him if he refused to give them any? Would they really throw him into their dungeon then? Eventually he begun to grow restless, not having been one to lie on his back for long periods of while he was awake. He blinked slowly, taking in his surroundings at first. Once he had his fill of the small room he breathed in deeply before he pushed himself up into a sitting position. His arms shook beneath his weight, but he had managed to prop himself up enough before they gave way. He winced, and shut his eyes, rubbing his forehead. He would have thought he would have been given enough pain medication to make even the most stubborn headache go away, but perhaps they hadn’t given him as much as he thought. His stomach churned, and he didn’t know whether he was going to be sick or if he just was hungry. Sitting up probably wasn’t a good idea. Closing his eyes for a few moments, he frowned seeing the IV sticking into his arm and seeing the fluids and blood that was flowing into him. Whose blood was that? His hands shook as he scratched and pulled at the tape that held the IV catheter in place. Was this Kieran's blood or some other Were's?
