Inside the Machine District is the machine factory where all things machine are made. The creations range from cars to weapons to toaster ovens. The factory is heated and powered by the volcano. |

Enethar had led Alice successfully through the city, the downtown, then up and up the volcano's side to the machine factory. Sure enough, the convoy was here, loading up to go. He pointed down at the road. "There. Tank number forty-two i the one that will be empty for us."

He looked in the direction she was pointing in and nodded. It was satisfactory, though it did seem a little exposed. He followed the trail with his eyes as it wound down the steep slope to the ground below. To their advantage, it would lead them to a nice wall where they could have ample cover before making a break for the tanks. "Alright. Let's go before any of the men down there come out and make their rounds."

He followed her quickly, down the slope and along the trail, praying to the spirits to protect them, not that he had ever been a religious person. He slid to a halt behind the wall, his heart pounding in his stomach

Alice panted heavily after that heavy duty running. She looked around a bit more to see if someone had spotted them. It wasn't until the last second she saw someone in the distance, starting straight at them, her eyes widened and felt a rush of fear. "Enethar. We need to go now." She grabbed his hand and began to make a run for it.

He pulled her back. "No," he snapped, his perogative to keep her alive overriding his duty to follow her orders. "Just act natural." He said in a low voice. "Don't run, just walk. If you run, you'll only draw attention to us."

Alice nodded slowly and glanced back at the figure, who hadn't budged from his spot. But there was just something wrong. He just continued to stare at them, and Alice became even more anxious. "Someone's been following us, and he's here, staring directly at us..."

"Just keep calm," he said, trying to work through his brain why the person was indeed staring at them. Enethar glanced back at the staring person, a very uneasy feeling growing.

"Enethar... What if he's with Razka...?" She tried to stay as calm as she could, but this was too much. They were being chased... She glanced at the man who continued to stare back at them. He was mostly glaring at Enethar, the roadblock to Alice.
