A popular little restaurant. You can order just about anything here. It is a small building with most of the seating outdoors under a big awning. there's a little stage where musicians play at night or on the weekends. |

Engel walked into the Fat Duck with Electra in tow, finding a seat on a bench rather easily. It was not terribly crowded today. A man on a guitar was playing some funny songs. At least the other people did, as the were laughing. Engel was hardly paying attention. He looked at the menu instead.

Electra followed him in and took a seat with him. She glanced around the place and looked at the artist. A hint of a smile touched her lips before she turned her attention to the menu.

A server came up, a very bubbly one apparently as she seemed to literally bounce. "What can i get you two today?" she asked in a very trilling voice.
"Um, cherry pepsi to drink and the grilled pheasant dinner," he said, dropping the menu back on the table. The waitress turned to Electra expectantly as she finished writing his order.

She looked up" dr. Pepper and cheese burger " she told her. She put the menu down and leaned back. [ lol couldn't think of any other food that would be good]

"Alright!" the server said cheerily. "I'll be back in a jiffy with your drinks!" She skipped away to go fetch that.
Engel watched her go with one eyebrow raised. "Wow," was all he said. He looked back at Electra. "Kind of an... energetic girl, wouldn't you say?"

Electra chuckled and nodded" yeah she defiantly is" she said calmly. She looked relaxed but also watchful of her surroundings. She knew she was safe but she does not want to be surprised.

The waitress returned with their drinks. "Your food will be here shortly," she said before bouncing away again. Engel vaguely wondered if she was a wererabbit or something.
Turning to his acquaintance, he said, "so, have you been in Emerson Village for a while?"

Electra shrugged" I come here when I have time off of my duties " she said calmly" or if I need to make a run her for work" she said gently.

"Do you live here then?" he pressed, taking a drink from his mug of pepsi. He loved anything cherry flavored.

She shrugged" got a house here when I'm not working as a guard at the castle" she said softly. She spent as much time she could here. She loved the small village life but alway made sure her duties came first.

"Oh? The Equara Castle?" he asked, clearly impressed. He had not guessed. She seemed so comfortable in this lowly little town. But then again, a lot of weres came here to shift and live and breathe freely as they chose. It was much more peaceful here.

"Sort of," he replied. "I do a lot of traveling. But I was born in Thuringar, and I hang out here a lot. So I guess this area is my home." He stirred the ice in his cup with his straw.

Electra nodded as she took a drink" I understand that" she said gently. She didn't mention where she grew up. If it hadn't been for the guard taking her in in the castle she'd might have ended up on the street or in satellite.
