War prisoners, traitors, enemies of state, and others are kept down in the hot, dank dungeons. Here, the only law is that of the Warden and the Head of Torture.

Kieran lay on the floor of the dungeon cell, weighted down by the heavy iron collar tightened around his throat. It hardly left him any room to breathe or swallow, very breath a small, gasping choke. The ones around his wrists crushed his bones in their grip and mad it near impossible to lift them. His face burned and throbbed with unceasing pain, pain that he would find no relief from.

The guards brought in another prisoner, and tossed the snarling prisoner into the cell next to Kieran's. Ice continued to growl even after the guards locked him away and left. He got up to his feet shakily, ignoring how tight the collar was around his neck, and how heavy the shackles around his wrists were. He begun to pace, panic welling up inside at having been caught and locked away in such a hot place.

Kieran turned his head a little, trying to see who it was that he could hear growling and breathing in the cell nearby. He managed to push himself up into a sitting position, leaning back against the wall. "Who's there?" he called out.

Ice quietened when he heard someone speak to him, and ignored them. He wasn't going to talk to any of them.
Shortly afterwards Adrian was brought down into the dungeon as well. He struggled, cursed, and tried to kick at the guards that took him down to the dungeon. He had the same shackles and collar as his brothers, but that didn't stop him from yelling at the top of his lungs. Thrown into a cell, he cursed under his breath, getting up to stand slowly."Fucking guards, fucking officials, fucking general," he snarled under his breath.

Kieran turned to look from the other to Adrian. "Adrian? What are you doing here?" he asked. He had hoped that his brother and sister would have at least escaped or something. But apparently not. Just their luck.

Adrian frowned, glancing over in the direction he heard Kieran's voice. "I just woke up in my room. Next thing I know there are guards coming in and I'm brought down here." His frowned deepened in the silence, and he opened and closed his mouth, unsure of what to say. He jumped hearing growling behind him. He backed up into a corner, trying to see through the darkness, to see who it was growling at him. He held onto the bars of the cell, his hands shaking slightly. He hadn't noticed anyone was in the cell with him. Why did they put him in a cell with someone else instead of the same cell as Kieran?
Ice came forwards slowly, growling low in his throat. He was annoyed he had to do this while he was in human form. Being a dragon would have made it so much easier. Leaping forwards suddenly, he lashed out and used the shackle on his wrist as a weapon as he hit the side of the Were's head.

Kieran flinched back when he saw Ice lash out as he did. "Adrian!" he shouted, but the warning was too late. He grit his teeth. "Stay the fuck away from him!" he snarled, adrenalin giving him strength as he staggered to his feet and came to the other side of his cage. "I said leave him alone!"

Ice bared his teeth, and stood his ground when the Were came and spoke to him again. There wasn't anything this one could do to stop him. It was fair if that one wasn't strong enough to fight him. Picking up the unconscious Were by his ankles, he dragged him away to the other side of the cell. Tilting his head for a moment, he stared down at the Were. He knew this one looked like him, but he didn't give it a second thought. Kneeling down next to the Were he pressed his foot down on the Weren's stomach as he lifted up his look-a-like's right leg, straightening it against his leg. Glancing in the direction of the other cell and the other Were, he didn't know if he could be seen or not. It wouldn't matter either way. Placing one hand on Adrian's ankle, and the other on the back of his leg, just below the knee, he waited a second before he bent the Were's leg back and over his leg.
Adrian had blacked out, but he had been slowly starting to come to. Frowning, he rubbed his eyes, narrowing them when his vision was blurry. Until he saw the most unlikely person holding onto his leg with an animalistic gleam in his eyes. "No, wait! Don't-" He saw what was going to happen, but he was too late. He screamed in agony as his leg was bent in the unnatural angle. He heard the crack of broken bone, felt his knee cap shatter and felt blood sliding down his thigh.
Ice ignored the Were's scream. Turning around, he sat down on the Were, holding onto his broken leg. Using a piece of shattered bone he used it to begin cutting off the Were's leg.
Adrian squirmed, and tried to pull out of his twin brother's grasp. Once he felt his leg was starting to be cut off completely, he leaned forward, pulling onto his brother's hair, and pulling him away from his broken leg.
Ice gritted his teeth, snarling when his hair was being pulled. Turning around suddenly, and letting go of the Were's leg, he kneeled down on him. Grabbing the Were's left hand, he twisted and dislocated his thumb. He waited a few seconds, letting the Were cry out again while the pain sunk in. Taking his thumb into his mouth, he bit down hard, grinding his teeth together, slowly biting though the skin until the thumb came off completely. Still kneeling on the Were, he pulled the thumb out of his mouth, briefly showing it to the Were before he sunk his teeth into it and begun to eat it.
Adrian continued to scream as his thumb was twisted, dislocated and bitten off. He clutched his bleeding hand to his chest, his eyes wide with horror and disgust as he saw his twin eat his thumb. "Why....why are you doing this? What have I done to you?" He forced the words out slowly, his jaw clenched tightly due to the pain. He refused to start begging, to start crying. He knew this wasn't over yet....at least he saw as much in his twin's eyes.
Ice ignored the questions, and continued to strip the flesh off the bone and swallowing it. Once he was done, he tossed the bone over to the other cell before he turned around again to continue his work with the broken leg.
Adrian shut his eyes tightly, breathing in sharply as he felt his own piece of bone being used to saw off his leg. Opening his eyes he scowl, looking at his twin. He couldn't deny this was his twin, but he could deny that this other Were....that this creature was any family of his. What family member would want to eat you? Leaning forwards slowly, he swung out his good hand against his twin's head, using the shackle like he felt his twin had done to him earlier. He was shocked by his own success in getting his twin off of him, that he stared down at him for what seemed like a long time before he brought himself back to the matter at hand. Gritting his teeth, he pulled himself up onto his foot. Using the cell bars he started to make his way back towards Kieran's cell. He was so close, just a few feet away when he was slammed against the cell. Eyes widening, he tried to cling onto the cell bars as he was being pulled backwards. "Kieran!" He cried, feeling his grip slipping. Then he was slammed against the cell's bars. In a daze, he felt his grip loosen, and he was back on the floor. He felt the back of his head being gripped tightly and then his face was being slammed into the floor. He screamed, trying to push his brother off of him. "No, don't do that again!" He panicked, trying to look over his shoulder when he felt his right hand being held tightly. His last two fingers were held and then they were bent backwards. He cried, the pain shooting through his hand and down his arm. He felt the other Were's teeth on his hand again, and just as he felt his twin bite in, he blacked out because of the pain.
Ice continued to bite and pull off the two fingers, even though the Were had passed out. He ate the two fingers as well, before he turned his attention to the leg again. Once he had sawed off the rest of the flesh, he pulled off the leg. Holding it in one hand, he left the unconscious Were face down in the cell and bleeding from his wounds. Going into a corner, he sat down and begun to feast.

Kieran stared, mortified at what transpired before him. There were no words to describe what went through his mind as he was forced to helplessly watch what he realized was on of his brothers beating, maiming, and eating the other. How the hell can anyone be even capable of feeling anymore after witnessing such a thing? Kieran begged Lorcan to stop. Screamed at him. Slamming his shackles against the bars of his cage to get Lorcan's attention. He shifted from the rage and the pain that tore through his heart and soul. He shifted enough to break one shackle on his wrist, but not the other. It broke his wrist instead. He wanted to go full dragon and rip this cage apart. Tear the whole building down if he could, if only he could just help Adrian. He couldn't do anything. One hand full of dragon claws and a tail were not enough to do anything except barely dent the bars. These prisons were meant to hold full blown dragons after all. He was forced to watch. Not because someone held his eyes open, but because he could not tear away from the sight. Nor could he simply ignore his brother's screams. "Lorcan, you fucking bastard!" he screamed. "I'm going to fucking kill you! You hear me! I'm going to tear your heart out and eat it after what you've done! You sick, fucking fuck!"

The werehorse was renown for his lack of violence, but after the screaming he heard and after he had confronted the guards on the source he made a few threats he wouldn't be proud of later. Patrick stormed into the dungeon, medical bag in tow while a pair of guards ran ahead of him to unlock the cell with the two weres inside. Neither of the guards entered, staring at the seen in front of them and the werehorse pushed them aside. He assessed the scene, glancing to the Were in the corner who was clutching a bloody leg and bared bloodied teeth at him. He crouched down, picking up Adrian and carried him out. No way was he going to treat a patient in the same space as their attacker. He was starting to walk away when the guards stopped him. "What do you mean I can't take him out of the dungeon? The general and the officials want their Prince to die? Just open the cell with his other brother and I'll work in there then," he cut off the guard that was trying to explain. He didn't have time to waste. Entering the cell with Adrain in his arms, and bag in tow, he rolled his eyes when the cell was locked after him. Laying Adrian down on the floor slowly, he opened his bag, pulling out a large blanket. After he spread it out on the floor, he lay the Weredragon on it again. Working on the dungeon floor itself was risky due to contamination but at least the blanket was sterile. Patrick didn't say anything to Kieran. Not to be rude because he heard the boy had killed his father, but working on Adrian was more important. Pulling out the portable LED light, he set it on the floor, finally getting a good look at his patient.

Kieran dragged himself away from the bars, sitting on his knees at Adrian's feet. "Can you... do anything?" he asked in a hoarse voice. He stared at the bloody mess that was his brother, his insides twisting into panful knots at the sight. He could hardly imagine that Adrian was even alive, but he was. His chest rose and fell, which brought him some relief, but not enough. He rubbed his broken wrist. Any physical pain he suffered was nothing. Even losing his eye. This was perhaps the greatest torture of all. And they hadn't even planned it.

"I can do plenty," Patrick replied, not taking his eyes off of Adrian as he pulled his bag to his side and started pulling out IV fluids. He frowned, checking for a pulse; it was weak, but at least it was still there. Inserting the IV catheter on Adrian's arm, he hung the IV bag off of the cell bars. Once he saw the fluid was passing through, he brought out a syringe and vial of morphine, inserting it into the IV. "He's going to need a blood transfusion later." He spoke, kneeling down beside Adrian, he pulled out a pair of gloves, and his instrument kit. Picking up Adrian's left hand, he rested it on his lap. He covered the gaping wound with lube before he pulled out gauze and chlohexdine, beginning to scrub away. It took another three times before the gauze finally came back clean. Disinfecting the area with alcohol and then iodine afterwards. He flushed the wound with a sterile solution, making sure to clean out any thing that might have gotten in there. "You might not want to look," he spoke, pulling out needle and thread, he begun to suture up the wound.

He ignored the doctor's warning and watched anyway. Stitching Adrian up was nothing. He had just watched Lorcan eat his fucking leg. He stayed silent, observant though. I can never protect anyone, he thought to himself. Not Mother, not the King, not Adrian... not even myself. It's my fault he's down here. My fault this happened. Why must the spirits be so damn cruel? He wanted to scream, but he had already screamed enough.

Patrick frowned, looking at Kieran when he didn't speak. He sighed, finishing up, and beginning to bandage Adrian's hand. Maybe he was being too silent? He might have been worried about Adrian's state more....but his older brother had witnessed him being beaten and eaten. "Would you like like anything for the pain?" He was wrapping the adhesive bandage over all the padding and gauze, making sure he wasn't doing it too tight.
