She then remembered Enethar healing the poison from earlier. "Actually. Now that I think about it, earlier I was poisoned trying to flee Cinaed... My friend, who's actually my satellite but he's more than simply that, he's a phoenix. I hear a phoenix's tears can heal everything and restore to pure perfection. Are there lasting effects to the tears?" She asked the woman, curious.

"Nope, not at all," she said when Alice questioned the injury. Her eyes widened at her explanation then. "Satellite...? Phoenix..?" Just who was this person anyway? Then again, she had heard of wealthy people buying up several Satellites on whims. Maybe she was a rich girl. "I wouldn't know anything about that," she said. "There's a were-griffin here. But that's it as far as mythical weres in the area."

"If you want to," she said. "A lot of people start over when they come here. It helps to keep our identities hidden." She was curious of course, but she wouldn't make Alice talk if she didn't want to.

She sighed and faced the woman more directly. "My name is Alice," She began. "Yes I am from Cinaed and I am a weredragon. I'm fleeing for more personal reasons, but my original destination was Thuringar. My friend, Enethar, and I were thrown off course due to the creepy abominations that resided in the ashlands..." She curled up around her dragon stuffed animal once she finished her simple explanation. Every time she mentioned Enethar, it felt like she got kneed in the stomach, slapped in the face and kicked to the ground all at once.

'Alice? That's a pretty name. I think the princess is named something like that." She didn't pay much attention to royal families, nor had she ever seen pictures or anything. "My name's Venus. Like the planet." She grimaced at the name. "I'm a Pallas cat when I'm an animal. It's nice for getting around all sneaky like. But a dragon... that's really cool."

"Venus is a very pretty name too." Alice smiled weakly at her. "And I've never seen a werecat before. Sometimes it's pretty cool being a dragon, but sometimes I also feel a big large..." She admitted, trailing off. She hugged her dragon stuff animal.

"Emotions can lend us incredible strength," she said. She suddenly perked up as she heard a noise from outside. She got up and went to the window. "Oh, I think they're back," she said, seeing dark shapes flying down from the sky.

Immediately, the slight happiness in Alice completely faded away into depression once again. However she didn't bother to show it, the truth was too painful. "Oh." Was all she said, there was a tiny crack of emotion in her voice, but Alice didn't speak afterwards.

She pulled away from the window. "I don't... I don't..." she kept looking from her to the window and back again. "Okay, let's go outside then. But let them do what they need to do though, alright?" She went to the door.

Alice nodded and followed her outside, nervous and in fear of what may happen to Enethar. She felt her stomach churn a bit and her body begin to shake. Alice had seen gory things yes, but she was not prepared to see what might have happened to Enethar.
